Family-friendly laws may exist in your state. Educate members on their rights under the law by providing information to union representatives and shop stewards, and by posting flyers on union
bulletin boards.

This list includes laws on paid leave, short-term leave, leave for school activities and parental leave. This is NOT a complete list of all state leave laws in the country and it does not include state versions of the Family and Medical Leave Act unless the legislation goes beyond the federal law.
