Caregiving Across the States Interactive Database - Family Caregiver Alliance
The National Center on Caregiving at Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) maintains an interactive online database - Caregiving Across the States - that isa valuable resource to inform state administrators and policymakers about support programs for family caregivers of adults with chronic illnesses or disabilities. It also allows caregivers and service providers to access information they need to seek assistance and benefits for themselves or their clients.

An important policy and research institute providing information and analysis on issues including work and family.

Families & Work Institute
This nonprofit center for research provides data to inform decision-making on the changing workforce, changing family and changing community.

Institute for Women’s Policy Research
IWPR is a public policy research organization focused on issues of critical importance to women and families such as employment and earnings, work and family, and health and safety. IWPR research reports are available online.

Sloan Work and Family Research Network
This Network provides web-based resources to individuals interested in the work-family area of study, supports the building of knowledge related to the work-family area of study, and offers opportunities for researchers to engage in collaborative experiences around these issues.

The Project on Global Working Families
A research unit developed and led by Professor Jody Heymann at the Harvard School of Public Health. It is one of the first to document the experience of the working families globally, across social class, in developing as well as industrialized economies.

Work-Life Flexibility in Unionized Workplaces
This research project is designed to increase the knowledge of work-life policies- those that are voluntarily used by employees to manage work and non-work demands- in unionized organizations.

Workplace Flexibility 2010
Workplace Flexibility 2010 is a campaign to support the development of a comprehensive national policy on workplace flexibility. By the year 2010, this campaign hopes to have helped develop consensus-based policy solutions that work for business and families.
