Voluntary Use of Paid Leave

Service Employees International Union Local 1877 and Apcoa Inc: SEIU Local 1877 won the right for workers to roll over up to 21 unused personal and sick days each year to be used for paid family leave. Employees have the right to designate which type of leave (vacation, sick/personal leave) will be utilized first for FMLA.

Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers and Harvard University: HUCTW, an AFSCME affiliate, negotiated with the university to allow members to use up to 12 of their own sick days each year to care for sick dependents.
