Before & After School Care
Service Employees International Union Local 715 and Santa Clara County: SEIU Local 715, the County, the local YWCA and the local school district agreed to use a public school whose enrollment was falling to provide before and after school programs for children of parents who need extended-day care. In return for using school facilities, the union and county agreed to encourage parents whose children used the center to also enroll their children in the school full-time. The YWCA operates the program.
